Making and Research Expo

This is an opportunity for students to experience a professional conference setting. Students will present their posters or objects and speak about their research informally, as guests come and go throughout the time period.  Students should expect students, faculty, and administrators from various disciplines to be present, and they should prepare both less and more technical explanations.  Ideally, students should have a practiced short talk of about 2-3 minutes that allows them to describe the assignment or research question, the methods they used, and the results. Additionally, students should be able to discuss the value of this kind of work.

If students are doing a poster, please assign students to print it as 32 inches WIDE and 48 inches TALL.  If this is not possible or doesn’t fit with your class assignment, please note that in your RSVP below.
