We are no longer accepting new proposals for the Integrated Curricula (IC) Program, but we continue to support courses already developed.

The IC pilot courses helped lead the University to incorporate multidisciplinary, integrated courses into the new IDEAS in Action general education curriculum. A new requirement of all first-year students, these courses are called Ideas, Information, and Inquiry (Triple-I) and are co-taught by three UNC-Chapel Hill professors, each from a distinct discipline on campus. Students are exposed to methods and materials from several fields, while learning to approach a theme or topic from multiple perspectives. If you are interested in learning more about Triple-I courses, please contact Dr. Cary Levine.

We thank Dr. Levine for helping lead the IC program and transition to implementation of the new Triple-I courses.  A goal of the QEP is to experiment with curriculum and find ways to sustain new, innovative ideas.
